Out in the middle of nowhere there is a huge mansion that has been abandoned for years and years. Well, that's what people think. Inside the boarded up building there's a lot more going on than furniture collecting dust and falling apart. A few months after the building was abandoned several doctors in white lab coats found it and decided that it was perfect, they turned it into a testing station.
Whenever they find out about someone who has some illness that they are interested in they send someone out to go and get that person. They basically kidnap them, make them disappear off the face of the earth then bring them to the mansion. No one except for them know about what goes on in there, the patients that they take there never return to the outside world, even when they are cured. They are lab rats, and when they become better they just make them sick again.
It patients had a choice there's no doubt that they would choose not to be here.. But they don't..

Welcome to LifeHouse. The year is 2121, and the humans are caught in the middle of a war. The canines are the ruling species and the humans are in hiding, rarely seen but they do exist. There are two packs that are at war with each other. Its now a post apocalyptic world, the world as we know it has changed drastically. Life is much more brutal now. The two packs that are fighting to be the supreme pack and the humans are caught in the middle of it, as they're trying to re-establish themselves and make things like they were. But there is one other pack, the Leeks, that are trying to keep the peace and let the humans thrive again. The two packs dont want it and want the humans to be at the bottom of the food chain. Two questions remain--will you choose a side? Or remain on the sidelines? Or will you stay safe in the LIFEHOUSE?

The year is 1978. The place is Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where Albus Dumbledore is Headmaster. The four Marauders, Severus Snape, and Lily Evans are in the middle of their seventh and final year at Hogwarts, while outside of the school the Dark Lord Voldemort is gaining power and recruiting followers. Wizards and muggles alike are falling victim to his evil prowess, and terror is spreading through the Wizarding World like wildfire.
Three students were killed last year, all three in light of suspicious circumstances. Narcissa Black was scandalously tied up in the entire affair and suspected by many students to be the culprit. She was innocent, however, and the real criminal was never located.
Scandal blanketed Hogwarts like a thick fog. Remus Lupin had been dating Narcissa Black, a relationship that was fraught with difficulties, including Narcissa’s disapproving family and a strained relationship with the other Marauders for Remus that continued until the relationship ended in the fall of the current term. Andromeda Black is falling apart due to the increasing pressure from her family to be a person she doesn’t want to be. James Potter is hopelessly chasing after Lily Evans who is denying any positive qualities within the boy. Peter Pettigrew has been gradually separating himself from the other three to pursue a forbidden love affair. With Remus now out of the way, Lucius Malfoy is starting after Narcissa, all the while thinking about Voldemort and getting the mark.
The others have also begun to take sides in the fight between good and evil...between The Order and Voldemort's dark regime. Several students now wear the Dark Mark. Friendships have been destroyed. Lines have been drawn. It's only a matter of time before Hogwarts and the Wizarding World alike are up in arms. With an attack on Hogsmead during the school’s Winter Social, those who haven’t been thinking of the war have been forced to open their eyes.
With the start of a new year, the students of Hogwarts and the outlying wizarding community have important decisions to make.
Do the walls of the great castle protect it's inhabitants, or has Voldemort's sinster presence penetrated deep within?

MWPP Marauders has been active consistently since July 2007. There are many canon characters currently available and OC's are welcome. We are seeking both student and adult characters. We are also expanding our out-of-school conflict between the Death Eaters and the Order of the Phoenix.
LITERACY & EXPERIENCE LEVEL NEEDED: Intermediate-Advanced. Most of our players are quite literate, but we are open to letting relative beginners join and develop their skill as long as they make a significant effort. Players must be able to make posts meeting a minimum 200 word count, though most posts range between 250-600 words. We request that applicants have good grammar and spelling, be familiar with Proboards, and understand basic Role-Play rules, courtesy, and procedure. Committed applicants only, please.
We seek players who have read all seven Harry Potter books, and it is encouraged that they have read J.K. Rowling's secondary texts as well (Beedle the Bard, Quidditch Through the Ages, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, etc.) Having only seen the films is not sufficient and will be frustrating to both you and others.

The MWPP Marauders RPG plotlines begin with canon and deviate as players see fit. We are not an AU RPG, so we do intend to keep things somewhat canon, however we do understand and support the desire to take liberties. We do not discriminate against anyone's personal 'shipping' preferences, and are open to allowing players to explore those as long as the characters can eventually return to canon.
We assume things to be true as they were at the end of the seven-book Harry Potter series written by J.K. Rowling, as well as all of her supplementary texts and interview revelations.
We invite anyone who is interested in a low-stress and fun Marauders Era RPG to join us. Our staff is very friendly and open, our players are easy-going and dedicated, and our C-Box is active and entertaining on a nightly basis! We feature a simple, clean layout with multiple skin choices at the request of our current players.

NOT ANOTHER ROCK TOUR -noun,
a tour running through may 2009 - may 2010. the final tour of headlining band, wicked dreams. a tour upon which heartbreak, break up, love, friendships, enemies, lies, hate, and drama all persue.
A life on tour can never be easy, right? Touring for a year shouldn't be any different. Especially with a variety of different types of musicians. And this tour, has it all. There are the musicians that are egotistical, that only think of themselves and no one else. And then on the other end, we have the shy ones that keep to themselves. Some care too much, and others just don't care at all.
With so much going on, and being away from most sanity for a year, it really couldn't be a surprise for most celebrities to crack. Fans and paparazzi are enough on their own. But could there be some members to be able to make it out on their own? Tough it up and deal with the pressure they get every day?
It began with the theft of an egg. Battles followed, times changed and then it was quiet for awhile.
To start a war they stole a wife who in turn married the enemy. A massive battle followed, a Weyr was decimated and it was quiet.
Another egg was stolen, the hope of a Weyr that will lead them to war. A new danger has come to Pern, will it go up in flames and blood?

Eight eggs, including a gold, were stolen from Northern Weyr and now harden on Southern sands. Twelve eggs remain in the Northern Weyr hardening as well. Opening Jan. 19th, ALL positions are currently open. We are accepting riders of all colors and allegiances. Bronzeriders needed!
In the beginning before beginnings of Evenlla, there was only darkness. Within that darkness was chaos; pure, utter, chaos. They're Back
It’s been 100 years since the Cullens have left Forks. They couldn’t keep lying to their friends, so they decided that it was time for a change. Obviously, Jacob Black went with them, refusing to let them take Renesmee away from him. They went to South America for a while, to stay with the Brazilian coven, as they were good friends to them when the Volturi wanted to kill Nessie. After that, they stayed in Denali. Now, they’re going back to Forks, to start all over again in the town they grew so fond of all those years ago. They’ve moved back into their old house, Edward, Bella, Nessie, and the newest addiction to the Black Family. Audrey Black, the daughter of Nessie and Jacob. Half Quileute, a quarter human, and a quarter vampire. She doesn’t need blood as often as her mother, or other family members do, but she does need it every now and again to survive. Audrey is all Nessie has left, what with Jacob gone.
What Now?
There is a new pack on the reservation, due to the return of the Cullens, and with the treaty broken, the pack and the Cullens are on bad terms once more. None of the old pack is there, having all passed away. Carlisle wants to renew the treaty with the Quileutes, but the leader refuses to meet with him. Audrey is the only member of the Cullen clan allowed on the reservation, as her father was part of the last pack. Alice can’t see the wolves, and she barely see Audrey. The Cullens worry every time she goes to the reservation, but secretly, they’re hoping one of the wolves will imprint on her, saving their family from an all out war with them.
The Cullens have gone back to the beginning and there’s no telling what will happen next.

To muggles, Hogwarts is a ruined shack near the England/Scotland border, with danger signs dotted around outside. To anyone else, Hogwarts is a majestic, medieval castle, teaching children how to become fully qualified witches and wizards. Students wrote with quills onto rolls of parchment, rode from Hogsmeade station in thestral-drawn carriages and studied from huge, dusty hardback books.
But no more.
The dawn of the twenty-first century brought change to Hogwarts. New technology was flowing into the muggle world like water from a broken pipe. Hogwarts had been timeless for centuries, but the students were soon brainwashed by laptops, iPods, gaming consoles and various other gadgets. Hogwarts was forced to permit muggle technology inside its walls.
The year is 2009. Hogwarts still clings to a few old traditions. Students are required to write with quills and ink during classes. School robes were to be worn during school hours. Rules were put in place to preserve the school's age-old legacy, but Hogwarts is not as it once was.
Hex is a new, very active role-play. We have kind staff, reasonable rules and friendly members. Moderate to advanced literate posting. Interesting plotlines that include everyone, not just the staff. We have a nice, dark, neutral skin. Members accepted all the time. We're PG13, but we allow people to go over that rating if they put a warning in the title. No characters from the book are allowed, but you may be related to them. However, the plot will not revolve around the canons. We use Harry Potter as a backdrop, nothing more. The role-play is set in 2009 and muggle technology is allowed at Hogwarts.

Welcome to The "A" Circuit. You've been training for this. Your horse is in top condition; his muscles ripple under a gleaming coat and his mane and tail are braided to perfection. You're wearing crisp breeches, a tailored coat and your lucky socks are under your shiny black field boots. As you're waiting to go in the ring, your coach goes over the course one more time and how you should approach each jump: "Balance him through the corner and stay out until you find the center of the single oxer on the diagonal..."
You gather your reins and ask your mount to walk forward the annoucer tells the large eager crowd that you have arrived: "Now in the ring is number 144." You pick up a flowing trot across the diagonal then move into an easy canter. All eyes are on you. The judge makes his notes as you breeze through the course of eight jumps.
There is a thunderous applause as you make your finishing circle. As you pull your horse to a walk you give him a pat and smile "Good Boy." Everyone you know congratulates you for the beautiful trip.
You wait for the jog. "In sixth place #122, in fifth place #139, in fourth place #167, in third place #147, in second place #157 and in first place and congratulations to #144! You've done it. You and your horse met your goal and won the The "A" Circuit Hunter Class, the sky's the limit now, all doors are open to you.
